Man charged with killing two pedestrians in Duplin County

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol says a Duplin County man faces felony charges after he allegedly hit and killed two pedestrians with his truck on Saturday. According to investigators at NCSHP Troop B in Duplin County, at 8:36 p.m. Saturday on Tram Road, Jeanie Johnson Jenkins, age 44 of Mt. Illegal immigrant convicted in death of Jemison nurse

The saga surrounding the criminal case in the 2018 death of a Jemison woman is nearing its end. It took only about 50 minutes of deliberation for a jury to reach a guilty verdict in the case against 20-year-old Jorge Ruiz on July 24. Ruiz was on trial in Autauga County for the death of 29-year-old Marlena Hayes of Jemison. The jury found Ruiz, an illegal immigrant, guilty of reckless murder for his role in Hayes’s death. Father of 5 killed by suspected DUI driver in Fresno, other victim critical, police say

Fresno Police identified the man they believe is responsible for causing a fatal crash in southeast Fresno Saturday night. Gustavo Blanco, 21, was found to be under the influence and has been booked into the Fresno County jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence causing death, both felonies, according to Lt. TUSCALOOSA — Former Alabama standout and current assistant strength coach Josh Chapman was arrested Saturday morning for driving under the influence, according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office online jail database. NEW HAVEN — One year after the car he was driving struck and killed a motorcyclist, a city man has been sentenced to serve four years in prison. Intoxication manslaughter, illegal entry among charges for man who crashed into family

SAN ANTONIO — We have confirmed the driver from Sunday morning’s deadly crash in South Bexar County is facing multiple charges as he recovers in the hospital. According to Bexar County officials, Jesus Abraham Gonzalez-Moreno, 26, faces four charges of intoxication assault, one DWI and one illegal entry charge. DUI Suspect Arrested in Deadly Chain-Reaction Crash on Temecula Freeway

A man accused of driving while under the influence was arrested after a chain-reaction crash left one person dead, others hurt, and sent a car off the freeway Tuesday.
