Florida Woman Asleep at the Wheel, Arrested for DUI Near Ditch

GREENWOOD, Fla.(dothaneagle.com) – After falling asleep at the wheel with a beer can in her hand, a Greenwood, Florida woman almost rolled her truck into a ditch, Jackson County Sherriff’s Office said. Florida Breath Testers Not Registered

Corrections officer facing DUI, child neglect charges

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – A Treasure Coast correctional officer is accused of driving drunk with his two young kids in the car.  Douglas Schultz was pulled over in Port St. Lucie on Monday after he yelled at a police officer from his car. An officer reports that the two children inside Schultz’s car appeared frightened. Schultz is charged with child neglect and driving under the influence. OCALA —  A 28-year-old Marion County woman has been charged with DUI and child neglect after crashing into a tree with her two young children inside her car, including an autistic 2-year-old boy who was sitting on her lap. Coral Springs, FL – Sun Sentinel A woman accused of drunken driving in a wrong-way crash that killed two 21-year-old friends from Coral Springs says she has no recollection of the accident. Office Depot executive arrested in DUI

BOCA RATON — The recently named chief financial officer of Office Depot was arrested late Saturday on a DUI charge. A Boca Raton police officer pulled over Stephen E. Hare, 60, after spotting his Audi going 57 mph in a 35 mph zone at 11:33 p.m. Hare struggled to complete a field sobriety test, and breath tests showed his blood alcohol content was 0.180 and 0.186, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08. Tallahassee, FL – Rep. Dane Eagle, R-Cape Coral, was arrested Monday morning and charged with DUI by Tallahassee police, according to the Tallahassee police.
