According to WATE-TV in Knoxville, the Knoxville, TN FBI field office is reporting a “new twist on an old scam.”  Scammers are scaring victims by telling them their child was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of an Intoxicant (DUI)  after a serious crash. Grab the tissues — you’re going to need them. Photos of an infant born via emergency C-section to a woman who was killed by an allegedly impaired driver recently went viral on Facebook, in a heartbreaking cry against driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. 19-year-old charged with felony DUI in deadly SC crash

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A man has been charged with three counts of felony DUI after a deadly crash in Pickens County that happened on Friday afternoon. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened on SC 183 at about 12:22 p.m. The driver of a 2016 Ford Pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a 2014 Toyota head- on. Seal Beach police arrest Long Beach DUI driver who allegedly killed pedestrian in crash

Police arrested a Long Beach DUI driver after she allegedly struck and killed a pedestrian with an SUV on Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Seal Beach Police Department. On Sunday just after midnight, the SBPD responded to the area of Pacific Coast Highway near Temescal Canyon Road regarding a crash, and upon arrival, officers found a male pedestrian unresponsive after he had been struck by a vehicle, police said. Tennessee Titans’ Isaiah Wilson arrested on DUI charge in Nashville after crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Tennessee Titans’ first-round pick Isaiah Wilson was arrested on a DUI charge Friday night following a crash, Metro Police said. Wilson, 21, registered a .107% on a breath alcohol test, police said. The legal limit is .08%. RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Authorities in Chesterfield County say a man is charged with involuntary manslaughter while driving under the influence of alcohol in a crash that killed a 20-year-old man. Jupiter police: Driver in fatal DUI crash told officers she’d just killed someone

JUPITER — Moments after a crash Saturday night in Jupiter left a bicyclist dead, a motorist told police she’d just killed someone, she shouldn’t have been driving and she was going to jail, according to a police report.
