A convicted bank robber was charged Tuesday with second-degree murder for a DUI collision in Costa Mesa that killed a 12-year-old autistic boy who was riding his bike alongside his father. Richard David Lavalle of Long Beach was scheduled to be arraigned sometime Tuesday in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana. He’s being held without bail. MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Berkeley County judge sentenced a 19-year-old Inwood resident to 3 to 15 years incarceration and a $3,000 fine Friday in the 2019 New Year’s Eve death of an 18-year-old Musselman High School student. PARK CITY, Utah — A woman is facing a felony DUI charge after hitting a young girl while driving in Park City Friday. Summit County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the call after witnesses say they saw a car driving on the Pinebrook Boulevard sidewalk where it hit the child. A truck driver was arrested on a DUI charge following a fiery crash that snarled traffic on the Perimeter for more than two hours Tuesday afternoon, Dunwoody police said. The wreck occurred in the westbound lanes of I-285 at Chamblee Dunwoody Road about 2:15 p.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.
