Save Time at the Tennessee DMV

First-time driver license and ID applicants; new resident applicants; and REAL ID applicants can now upload some identifying documents online before going to get their drivers licenses and other similar services in order to save time at the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s Driver Services Center. Knoxville recently added its third self-service kiosk designed for convenient driver’s license renewal. This kiosk, like the forty others in Tennessee, functions using biometric facial recognition technology to recognize the driver.
