Sixteen suspected of DWI in East Baton Rouge Parish during the weekend

Authorities arrested at least six people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, booking records show.

Those booked and the counts against them:

Jared Courson, 29, 28470 Grey Eagle Drive, Denham Springs, first-offense DWI and driver’s license suspended or revoked.

Paul Freeman, 27, 31318 N. Cafeline, Tickfaw, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of vehicle and improper lane usage.

Kyle Major, 26, 5338 Stones River Ave., first-offense DWI and driver’s license not on person.

Collin Murphy, 21, 16829 Monitor Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, failure to signal and reckless operation of vehicle.

David Poche, 62, 962 Airline Ave., Gramercy, first-offense DWI and reckless operation of vehicle.

Gregory Whitfield, 56, 514 Rabel Drive, Baker, first-offense DWI, required tail lamps, driver’s license suspended or revoked, speeding, license plate switched, reckless operation of vehicle, inspection sticker switched, flight from officer, possession of alcohol in vehicle and no proof of insurance.
