Two cops from the same New Jersey police department were busted separately for drunk driving on the same day, according to a new report.
Gloucester Township police officer Steven Lenker, 29, allegedly hit a pedestrian and a parked car while under the influence on July 18, while fellow officer James Ryan, 28, was allegedly three times over the legal booze limit, NJ.com reports.
Lenker — a six-year veteran of the force who earns $95,536 — allegedly hit a pedestrian in Atlantic City around 8 p.m then rammed into a parked car, the outlet reported.
The sloshed lawman allegedly told cops through slurred speech that he couldn’t remember what happened — then failed a field sobriety test, but refused to take a breath test.
