Man Faces DUI Charges After Crash With Plow Truck: Roundup

CONCORD, NH — A Chichester man was arrested on his second drunken driving charge Saturday after a head-on crash on Route 4 with a New Hampshire Department of Transportation plow truck, according to New Hampshire State Police. Troopers from Troop D were sent to the highway after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident around 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, investigators learned the crash involved the department of transportation truck and another vehicle.

“An investigation revealed that a NHDOT pickup truck was traveling westbound on Route 4 when it encountered a vehicle traveling eastbound, which had crossed over the double yellow lines and into its lane of travel,” according to Sgt. Vincent Grieco of Troop D. “Attempts to avoid the vehicle were unsuccessful and they both collided head-on.”

The truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, Dylan Beaudet, 25, of Chichester, was also taken to the hospital. He was later arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence and DUI-subsequent.
