A Florida police officer was busted for DUI after allegedly driving his police cruiser the wrong way down a highway with the emergency lights on — then telling cops he was “f—ked up,” reports said.
Sergeant James Stephen McVay, who works for the North Bay Village department, was spotted driving north in the southbound lanes of US 27 on Wednesday night, CBS Miami reported.
McVay was swerving in the lane and had the emergency lights of his police car blaring, according to the report.
An officer for the Pembroke Pines department followed McVay and attempted to pull him over, but the allegedly inebriated McVay responded by holding his hand out the window and giving him the thumbs up, the report said.
