DUI arrest for driver who crashes on washed out road near Lesterville

LESTERVILLE, S.D. (KELO) — It’s another reminder to not drive past barricades.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol sent photos of a SUV that crashed in a washed out gravel road. The crash happened near 430th Avenue, north of Lesterville.

Authorities say the driver and passenger were both sent to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver was also arrested for a DUI.
