An Aurora man may have been intoxicated when he drove into oncoming traffic in downtown Aurora Friday night and struck a minivan, killing a 9-year-old girl and injuring two others, police said.
The 25-year-old man was driving a 2003 Cadillac DeVille southbound on Broadway Avenue, just south of Pierce Avenue, at about 9:10 p.m. when he went into the northbound lane and into the path of a 2009 Toyota Sienna, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department.
