CHEYENNE – Local law enforcement agencies have a hulking new asset in their crusade against drinking and driving.
Cheyenne Police Department officials, along with their counterparts from the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department and Wyoming Highway Patrol, unveiled the city’s new DUI Task Force command vehicle on Friday.
The 40-foot long, 12-foot tall behemoth looks like a giant recreation vehicle and houses everything police need to test and process suspected drunken drivers. It includes a temporary holding cell and blood alcohol content measurement devices.
