WASHINGTON —
Washington City Councilman, Matthew Staniszewski, is being charged with his 4th DUI, according to police.
According to the police report, the councilman was parked on an angle in the middle of East Wheeling Street, just after 1 p.m. on Monday. The report says that he was confused, his eyes were glassy and the officer didn’t conduct field sobriety tests for fear he would fall.
Staniszewski was charged with DUI in 2004, 2006 and 2007 . His attorney, Sean Logue, said because of the gap in time, the case will be treated like a first-time DUI.
