Pennsylvania (pennlive.com) –
Bicyclists who are suspected of riding drunk must provide blood samples as requested by the police or have their Pennsylvania driver’s licenses suspended, Commonwealth Court ruled Wednesday.
That is the same mandate that applies under Pennsylvania’s Implied Consent Law for motorists who are pulled over for DUI.
The court issued its decision in a case involving a Butler County man who was stopped by a cop after he rode his bike through a red light near a shopping center just before midnight on Sept. 15, 2011.
