Nashville, TN –
Police arrested a woman on Sunday after officers said they found her asleep in a broken-down car with her two young children.
Officers where called to Cliff Drive in Nashville after the car ran out of gas. When they arrived, they found Andrea Sweeney asleep in the back seat, according to her arrest warrant.
Sweeney’s 9-year-old son was sitting in the driver’s seat, the warrant said. Her 7-year-old daughter also was in the back seat.
The children said they had been there for a long time.
