A Tulsa woman with a prior record for driving under the influence of alcohol was sentenced Monday to 40 years in prison for a “felony murder” conviction tied to a fatal traffic collision.
In accordance with jury verdicts, a judge sentenced Marquita Littlebear to consecutive prison terms totaling 54 years, connected to a Feb. 12, 2012, crash that police categorized as a hit-and-run collision that claimed the life of Susan Mamary, a teacher at Marquette Catholic School.
