Seymour Johnson chief master sergeant involved in DWI crash

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) – A DWI accident over the weekend involving a high-ranking official at Seymour Johnson AFB sent a teenager to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, officials say. Chief Master Sgt. Hector Soler was driving a vehicle going 70 mph in a 35 mph zone on S. George St around 11:30 p.m., according to a report by Goldsboro Police. Off-duty Cape Coral officer crashes into house; DUI suspected

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — An off-duty Cape Coral police officer crashed her SUV into a home at 422 Nicholas Parkway E., the police department said. Officer Emily Zyvoloski, 33, had a blood-alcohol level of .253 — more than three times the legal limit — when the crash took place around 2 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report. FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says a man has died after deputies arrested him for suspicion of driving while impaired. Deputies said 35-year-old Clarence Junior Young started having “medical complications” after he was pulled over and arrested Tuesday afternoon in the Grays Creek area. Lake sheriff’s officer faces DUI charges after crash

SCHERERVILLE — A Lake County sheriff’s officer was arrested early Tuesday on a drunken driving charge after an off-duty crash that heavily damaged his vehicle and a parked car, Indiana State Police said. Cleveland woman charged with homicide after DUI crash kills motorcyclist

CLEVELAND – A motorcyclist died Monday evening when a car driven by a suspected drunk driver failed to yield while making a turn. John Stoudermire, Jr., 52, of Cleveland, was driving his motorcycle east on Kinsman Road at around 8 p.m. when a car turning left from East 73rd failed to yield to traffic. Girl, 9, killed in suspected DUI crash in downtown Aurora

An Aurora man may have been intoxicated when he drove into oncoming traffic in downtown Aurora Friday night and struck a minivan, killing a 9-year-old girl and injuring two others, police said. Woman charged with DUI-manslaughter after motorcycle crash

A 25-year-old Key West woman was jailed Friday after state troopers said she drunkenly crashed into a pair of motorcycle riders Aug. 1 near Sugarloaf Key and kept driving for another half-mile before stopping. A former Modesto police sergeant was arrested Friday on charges of DUI. Rick Applegate, 40, was taken into custody as he pulled into the driveway of a home in Hughson, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday.
