Woman Arrested for DUI After Driving to ‘Coffee With a Cop’

A Montana woman who police said was stumbling and smelled of alcohol was arrested after driving to a cafe hosting a “Coffee with a Cop” event. Great Falls Lt. Doug Mahlum says 66-year-old Charlene Kranitz walked by more than a dozen uniformed officers in Schulte’s Coffeehouse on Wednesday to get to a frozen yogurt machine. ROSELLE COPS STOP ALLEGED DUI DRIVER WITH 15-FOOT TREE WEDGED IN GRILLE

ROSELLE, Ill. (WLS) — Police in the northwest suburbs stopped a woman they say was driving down the road with a 15-foot tree wedged into the grille of her car. Police say a few weeks ago the car was headed southbound on Roselle Road with the tree wedged into the front. Uber Driver Suspected of DUI After Slamming Into Party Bus in San Diego

An Uber driver was facing DUI and resisting arrest charges Thursday after driving through a red light and slamming into a party bus in downtown San Diego, police said.   The crash took place just before midnight Wednesday near the intersection of Sixth Avenue and F Street, said Lt. Suspect found guilty in Lodi DUI crash that killed family

STOCKTON, Calif. (KCRA) —A San Joaquin County jury found a Lodi man guilty Wednesday of six counts of second-degree murder in a 2013 DUI crash that killed five family members and an unborn baby in Lodi. Ryan Morales was also found guilty of driving under the influence and numerous other charges. New York judge arrested for DUI on her way to court

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (CBS) – Authorities say a Rochester judge has been arrested on a drunken driving charge after being pulled over on her way to court. Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley says Judge Leticia Astacio was arrested Saturday morning after being stopped by New York State troopers on Interstate 490. Man in clown costume arrested for DUI

Investigators said there was nothing funny about it. Officers in Alabama arrested a man wearing a clown costume for driving under the influence of alcohol on Saturday. Another driver reported 51-year-old Joel Sloan’s red Ford SUV weaving in and out of traffic on a road in Jefferson County, according to Fox 6. Jacksonville mayor arrested, charged with DUI, impersonating officer

Telfair County sheriff’s deputies arrested the appointed mayor of Jacksonville Monday on charges of driving under the influence of drugs. Sheriff Chris Steverson says John Dopson, who was driving a city police car when he was stopped on U.S. 441 near Ga. 117, is also charged with impersonating a police officer. Colorado Springs man gets prison time for 10th DUI

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – A Colorado Springs man has been sentenced to three years in prison after his 10th DUI conviction. The Colorado Springs Gazette reports that 54-year-old William Randall Nance was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to drunken driving. His most recent DUI charge comes from a Labor Day crash in Colorado Springs. Nance faced up to six years in prison under recently toughened DUI laws.
