Jacksonville mayor arrested, charged with DUI, impersonating officer

Telfair County sheriff’s deputies arrested the appointed mayor of Jacksonville Monday on charges of driving under the influence of drugs. Sheriff Chris Steverson says John Dopson, who was driving a city police car when he was stopped on U.S. 441 near Ga. 117, is also charged with impersonating a police officer. Colorado Springs man gets prison time for 10th DUI

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – A Colorado Springs man has been sentenced to three years in prison after his 10th DUI conviction. The Colorado Springs Gazette reports that 54-year-old William Randall Nance was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to drunken driving. His most recent DUI charge comes from a Labor Day crash in Colorado Springs. Nance faced up to six years in prison under recently toughened DUI laws. Teen charged with DUI in crash that killed passenger in his car

A Northwest Side man has been charged with DUI in a Norwood Park crash that killed a passenger in his car, according to Chicago police. Mishel Lame, 19, was driving a BMW coupe around 7:30 p.m. Monday when he rear-ended another car in the 5100 block of North Nagle Avenue, police said in a statement. Man crashes truck into 2 vehicles, faces DUI charges

BELLEVUE, Neb. —Bellevue police arrested a 34-year-old Bellevue man on suspicion of DUI Monday morning. Police say he could face other charges as well. According to police, the man was driving a Chevy Silverado pickup truck. Police believe he was under the influence. Miss Washington USA Stormy Keffeler Resigns Over DUI Conviction

Stormy Keffeler, 23, pleaded guilty to DUI in September and spent two days in jail last month, according to court documents. The Seattle Times reported police stopped Keffeler in April as she drove a car with two flat tires. Keffeler broke pageant rules by not disclosing the incident on her paperwork before entering Miss Washington USA nor after she won the 2016 crown in October, co-executive producer Maureen Francisco told NBC News. Remember the Naples DUI bikini grandma? Busted again.

The North Naples grandmother who was arrested on a DUI charge wearing a bikini in April has been arrested again. Deputies arrested the 50-year-old Patricia Ebel on a charge of violating the probation for that DUI, according to a Collier County sheriff’s arrest report. Ebel had a blood-alcohol level of .177, more than double the legal limit of .08, when her probation officer tested her 10:40 a.m. Tuesday. A jail breath test registered her level at .122 and .120. New York Woman Claims Her Body Brews Alcohol, Has DUI Charge Dismissed
