Roger Clemens ex-trainer Brian McNamee arrested for DUI

Brian McNamee, the former trainer for pitcher Roger Clemens who testified before a congressional committee that he injected the Rocket with performance-enhancing drugs, was arrested for DWI Monday morning on Long Island, according to a Long Beach Police arrest report obtained by the Daily News. The 48-year-old McNamee was also charged with driving while impaired by drugs, driving while his ability was impaired by drugs and alcohol, and driving with a suspended license, according to the arrest report. Suspect held following deadly Woonsocket DUI crash

WOONSOCKET, R.I. — The suspect in a deadly crash in Woonsocket is being held without bail. Johnny Sak, 23, has been charged with driving under the influence, death resulting, in the crash that claimed the life of 22-year-old Alexandra Patten. Dash cam video shows DUI suspect fire at Pa. officer at point blank range

MANCHESTER TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — The Northern York County Regional Police Department has released dash cam footage of a suspect firing at an officer at point blank range. Authorities identify the suspect as Trev Bowies Jackson. They say Jackson has a wounded left hand and the hand may still be bandaged. ‘NCIS’ Star Michael Weatherly — Busted For DUI

“NCIS” star Michael Weatherly ended up on the other side of the law when LAPD busted him for DUI. Law enforcement sources tell us Weatherly was stopped for speeding earlier this month around 1 AM in Hollywood. We’re told officers suspected he’d been drinking and after running tests, determined his BAC was well above the legal limit. Weatherly spent nearly 15 hours behind bars. Read More »

DUI charges filed in fiery wrong-way crash on I-295 in West Deptford, N.J.

WEST DEPTFORD, N.J. (WPVI) — Authorities have filed DUI charges against a Delaware County woman they say caused a fiery head-on crash early Monday on I-295 in West Deptford. Police say 26-year-old Eileen Dougherty of Boothwyn, Pa. was driving her Toyota Prius northbound on I-295 South when she slammed head-on into the Ford pickup truck driven by Mark Rohrbach of New Jersey. Stroger executive gets 100-day sentence for DUI, fatality of bicyclist

A Stroger Hospital executive who was driving home drunk from an office Christmas party in 2013 was sentenced to 100 days in prison Tuesday for striking and killing an aspiring chef who was biking home from work. During an emotional hearing, Robert Vais, the hospital’s director of cost reimbursement, tearfully apologized for the death of Hector Avalos, 28, who had served five years in the Marines. “I am so sorry,” he said as members of Avalos’ family began to weep. ...
