Police in McHenry County will be out for blood with drivers who refuse to take breath tests for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Deputies: Collier County teacher arrested for DUI

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Collier County Deputies arrested a teacher with Collier County schools for DUI on Friday night. Deputies said they found April Jones drunk behind the wheel on Immokalee Road near Wildwood Boulevard. According to the arrest report, deputies name Jones as a teacher in the Collier County School District. Jones was going 68 in a 50 mile per hour zone, deputies said. Florida officer charged with DUI, fired after she’s spotted driving backward

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A Florida sheriff’s lieutenant is charged with driving under the influence after she was spotted driving backward and honking her horn in the middle of the night. Pinellas County Sheriff’s Lt. Christi Ruhtz also was fired from the department where she had worked for 19 years. Bride driving to her wedding arrested for DUI

A bride-to-be in Arizona was arrested en route to her wedding on Monday for allegedly driving under the influence. Amber Young, 32, was arrested and charged around 10:30 a.m. in Marana after officers responded to calls of a three-car accident, Marana Police Sgt. Chriswell Scott tweeted. A suspected DUI driver lead a very slow-speed chase in the Palmdale area Friday afternoon before an hourslong standoff was taken into custody. Steve Wilkos Asks the Court for Leniency After Being Charged with DUI Following Scary Car Crash

Steve Wilkos made his first court appearance since he was arrested on charges of operating under the influence in connection with a car crash. The former Jerry Springer Show security guard, 53, appeared before Judge Richard Comerford in Stamford Courthouse in Connecticut six weeks after his one-vehicle accident on Jan. 21. A Florida woman who police said was driving under the influence Monday was taken into custody after rear-ending another vehicle and kicking and peeing on an officer — all while her child was in the back seat of her car, according to reports. Man charged in fatal DUI on Southwest Side that killed his younger brother

A 28-year-old man is facing felony charges after he crashed into a guard rail on a Stevenson Expressway exit ramp and killed his younger brother, prosecutors said. Johnathan Rios was driving a Toyota Highlander with five occupants seated in the front passenger seat, back seat and hatchback area.
