Driver arrested for DUI in deadly Gibraltar Road crash

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol released additional details on Monday night’s deadly crash on Gibraltar Road in Santa Barbara County on their collision report. CHP said they arrested the driver of the 2005 Volkswagen involved in the crash for driving while under the influence of alcohol. He has been identified as 19-year-old Ventura resident Brandon S. Vestavia Hills woman charged in wrong-way DUI crash that critically injured 24-year-old man

A Vestavia Hills woman has been charged with a felony crime in connection with a March DUI crash that critically injured a 24-year-old man. Karen Pridgen Stafford, 50, was arrested Thursday, according to court and jail records. She was booked into the Jefferson County Jail at 1:30 p.m. and released 27 minutes later after posting $15,000 bond. Former NBA player and head coach Derek Fisher was arrested on suspicion of DUI early on Sunday morning after an accident that resulted in his vehicle being overturned, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. Former Basketball Wives reality star Gloria Govan was in the vehicle with Fisher, though both were uninjured. Charleston man charged with felony DUI after fatal crash in McClellanville

Authorities say a man was driving under the influence early Saturday when he lost control of a vehicle and crashed in McClellanville, fatally injuring his passenger. Mark Alexander Zulawski, 21, of Nassau Street in Charleston, is charged with felony DUI resulting in death and having an open container of alcohol. Tempe PD: Mesa Councilman Ryan Winkle arrested for DUI

TEMPE, AZ – The Tempe Police Department says Mesa Councilman Ryan Winkle was arrested for suspicion of DUI early Sunday morning. Police say Winkle was spotted near Mill Avenue and Baseline Road weaving in the roadway by an officer before being pulled over. Loudoun Co. teacher arrested at school, charged with DUI

WASHINGTON — A Loudoun County middle school teacher was arrested Friday on charges of driving under the influence and having alcohol in the school. The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office said that Megan Debo, 29, a teacher at Sterling Middle School, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and of possessing or drinking alcohol on school grounds during school hours. Utah lawmakers pass bill to lower DUI limit to 0.05 percent

SALT LAKE CITY –   Utah could soon have the strictest DUI threshold in the nation after state lawmakers on Wednesday night voted to lower the limit for a driver’s blood-alcohol content to 0.05 percent, down from 0.08 percent.
